The Cottage On the Brook is gorgeous.  Perfect based for our expedition to Scafell Pike and riding at Whinlatter Forest.  We had a 5* breakfast in the cafe at the Village Shop - a recommendation for the Welcome Brochure.  Thank you for a great stay

Fabulous stay for a group of friends and dog! Such a well equipped house, comfortable and so well situated. Thank you so much. Inspiration for others - here are the activities we did: Hiked Skiddaw, Hiked to Fore Crag Mine then up Crag Hill and Sail (door to door), Paddling on Derwentwater, Walk in Whinlatter Forest, Visit to Threlkeld Quarry & Mining Museum, Visited Pencil Museum & Puzzling Place.
